Where to buy and how to issue
Customers should present their downloaded print-at-home vouchers to any National Rail station within the London Fare Zones 1-6 area. If travelling from an unstaffed station, the Evening Standard 10p Child Ticket can be bought on the train.
The voucher shows the date of outward travel and the journey for which the customer wishes to buy the Evening Standard 10p Child Ticket. If customers have changed their mind with regard to the date or journey they want to make (e.g. because of service disruption), the voucher may be manually amended for another qualifying journey.
The voucher should be returned to the customers, who must carry the voucher with them on their journey.
The Evening Standard 10p Child ticket is only valid in conjunction with a valid accompanying adult ticket:
· Off-Peak
· Off-Peak Day
· Super Off-Peak
· Super Off-Peak Day
Further points to note
Standard class only.
No maximum numbers per voucher but maximum of 2 children per fare paying adult.
Railcard discounts and GroupSave party discounts on the adult tickets are allowed.
Family & Friends Railcard holders can use the cheaper Evening Standard 10p Child Fares (instead of the usual Family & Friends Railcard child discounted fare).
Evening Standard 10p Child tickets may accompany for the throughout journey adults who are using a Travelcard Season or Freedom Pass in conjunction with a (Super) Off-Peak (Day) extension ticket to a destination outside Zones 1-9 (issue Evening Standard 10p Child fare from the appropriate BOUNDARY ZONE).
