I should have guessed you'd reply bb21 - having just done the Severn and Solent. I was just wondering whether anyone else would have suggested it and whether the Ticket Office would suggest it if you asked just for the specified journey. It is a bit misleading when the websites tell you £44 is the cheapest. When obviously £42 is cheaper and you could make 2 days more journeys in the area for that.
