My first railtour ever! Such an awesome day, even though we had to be up at stupid o'clock to get there but here are some of the pictures from the day, let me know what you all think:

Some good shots :) Was the tour Worcester - SVR and back? Interesting to see the units on the Severn Valley, a taste of the future perhaps!

The tour was Birmingham Snow Hill - Worcester Shrub Hill - Birmingham New Street via the Camp Hill line - Walsall via Soho - Birmingham New Street via Aston and Witton - Kidderminister via Galton Junction - Bridgnorth - Birmingham Snow Hill - Tyseley Works - Leamington Spa - Stratford Upon Avon - Worcester Shrub Hill

LOL, after every stop :D ;)

Sounds as though it was a good day, though it's slightly bizarre to see such an impressive farewell tour for units which are to carry on in service for the forseeable! There's obviously much affection for them upcountry!

Wristbands at the ready... I stuck mine together at a funny angle, and it irritated me for the rest of the day. Good idea in principal... :lol:

Really good pictures. Wanted to go on that but couldn't get there unfortunatly. Nice to also see a few of my old colleagues on them too!
