Fast train by mistake

If you haven't got a ticket on the return journey to East Croydon what can you do to prove what has happened ?

Too many people think they can just get on a train without asking or seeking permission and then they are liable for whatever if someone catches them.

You'd need to tell someone for sure, although I guess that in this particular instance if you didn't and came back, got caught, it wouldn't be that hard to give the information (that would check out, and not likely be known by anyone else) of the train that had the stopping pattern changed, skipping the stop.

But of course you'd then be hoping for discretion to be shown, or far more serious problems.
