A work colleague traveled from Fenchurch Street to North Greenwich via West Ham (in Zone 3). He had a Z1-2 travelcard and enough PAYG credit for a Z3 trip, but his PAYG balance wasn't debited.
The single fare finder says this journey is a Z1-2 only fare (£2.40 off peak) - I'm just curious as to what route the system thinks he took. There's no gateline at West Ham between the NR and Jubilee platforms, and every other route I can think of involves a mid-journey touch in/out (for example, via Limehouse and Canary Wharf) inside Zone 2.
