Wireless plans are on track

First Great Western continues the trend for TOCs to offer wireless internet access to customers by adding it in 85 UK stations.

Ten stations, including Bristol Temple Meads, Reading, Plymouth, and Swindon will get wireless access points in the next few months. The remainder of stations will be connected by early 2006. The TOC is working with the wireless network operator The Cloud to install and manage the access points.

It will most likely cost around £4.50 an hour.
