This thread is for your favorite fictional liveries on trains. You can make your own and I would recommend this. Show off your creations!

Are you familiar with the 'Ficticious liveries' website? Some cracking Photoshop jobs on there. I have no such talent unfortunately :(

I'm not very good but here they are: First one is a London Midland Class 317 and the second is a Greater Anglia Class 319. I also have a Southern Class 150 but that is not on this computer.

It's a great site isn't it?

This is my favourite of them all:- (All credit to the artist!)

The VTEC HSTs could have looked like this!

It may actually be a mock-up, but still...

BR blue Voyager is an absolute cracker, smelly make do rubbish spans the decades...

I tell you what I'd love to see on here before Scotrail go any further with their HSTs.

Usual Scotrail blue on the power cars and trailers, but with the front end yellow extended round in exactly the way the originals had with BR, great horizontal lines giving an impression of speed and flattering the shape. Scotrail saltire where the outline BR logo sat on the power car sides in the 1970s. A design classic reinvented for its final outings to Aberdeen and Inverness rather than a tart up on a 40 year old.

I don't know Photoshop from the corner shop, could anyone do that and send it on to Transport Scotland and Scotrail? :)

One I've always wanted to photoshop is a 156 into FGWs Local Lines livery - rather wished we had then in the west, but I think they'd look as good in Local Lines as they do in ScotRail.

Seen a 101 in TPE colours. Raised a giggle in messrooms

This one is one of my favourites. A fantastic example of how changing the lines of the livery can transform the look of the whole unit. I always thought the 101s with the whole cab end painted yellow looked dreadful.

This is pretty good and something I can see happening when the 153's are withdrawn!

How much better does this look than the current primary school attempt at a livery...

Have to agree - I tweeted VTEC and told them it looks dreadful - they had the good grace to reply and ask why I felt that.

Another planet...
A 333 in the original Metro livery of Verona green and cream would be interesting, as would a 185 in 1980s style provincial with Trans-Pennine branding.

I have always wondered how people mock these up - really want to see a pacer in VTEC colours
