23501:Gained new style First Aberdeen Coach Hire (FACH) branding.
23502: Gained new style First Aberdeen Coach Hire (FACH) branding.
69254: First Scotland East, Larbert to First Aberdeen (26/07/18).

I've been informed 3 of the Artics at Livingston are ready to be transferred. Where the heck they're going is another question though, Bristol is being time and time again rumoured, but this makes no logical sense and i doubt it would happen. We'll have to wait and see!

I wonder if the artics could be off to Somerset Passenger Solutions at Bridgwater? They currently have or did have a couple on trial.

Incorrect, 23501 is still all white. 23502 and 23503 are the ones with new vinyls.

69254 was in the workshops today with 69263 at the rear of the depot. Both out of range from the camera sadly! 23504 has also now gained the new livery and was sat at the depot rear both times i passed yesterday.

Thanks for that, just a simple mix up when typing the post, now amended!

Perhaps, but then why would anyone that far away want 13 year old Artics, just doesn't seem logical one bit, as i say we'll have to wait and see.

All the Artics at Livingston have went to Larbet for MOT, all 6 have also been repainted and tidied up.

62164/79 are due to go south to Larbert with 69283/84 coming north to Aberdeen this weekend.

Buses of Somerset ? :D

... :p

Honestly i don't know.

Either way i'd be quite happy with them as both are good buses, 62164 is a very reliable and tidy motor, served Aberdeen very well over the last 17+ years since she was delivered new here back at the start of March 2001.

Here's 62164 on a 20 last Wednesday (1/8/18). King Street Depot is just out of view behind that wall

I wonder if there any spare buses going from Midland bluebird since with the cuts to Stirling could result in another 5 buses?

Looks like you may be right. It's being reported elsewhere that 13 B7RLEs are coming to Aberdeen from Scotland East, with 62149/50/51/52/53/55/63/64/69/77/79/80/81 going in return. As mentioned above 62164/79 are going to Larbert today. 62169 and 62177 have also had their ticket equipment removed.

A number of the B7RLEs coming up will carry the 2 tone blue livery, so i suspect Aberdeen will be a tad blue for a little while as they repainted them out in due course! It should be noted that 69263 has been in service every single day for a few weeks now without any fault. I'm not sure on the status of 69254 now, but it's not been reported in service yet and was last time i checked it was in the workshops.

Just 62165/66/67/78 will remain in the fleet.

13 B7RLE? They must be hoovering up the last of the at Livingston and Larbart ones. Mind you a few have been returned from Essex so someone is building up surplus. It was hopped the spare buses from the 38 would go on to the improved X37. I wonder if the B10BLE will be deployed on the new X36 and improved X37.

I've been informed today that of the B10BLEs being transferred the X plates (62149 - 53) will be scrapped and the Y plates (62163/64/69/77/79/80/81) will be spread out and converted to Driver Trainers. That's not to forget 62165/66/67/78 which will remain in service at Aberdeen.

As far as i'm aware the B7RLEs are indeed being displaced with the Solars from Esex.

69283/84 got in to the depot at 20:30. Both have went in to the washbays.

More B10s will definitely be going on Monday and Thursday, with perhaps even more on Tuesday and Wednesday. There's a number of B10s on the back row of the depot and 62169 which i suspect will go tomorrow is outside the workshops.

It's Livingston the B10s are going to, not Larbert.

X37 can been done with the E300s as is usually the case presently, there should be enough of them to run that.

Two more 2 tone blue liveried B7RLEs arrived this evening. Apparently Aberdeen are also getting a pair of Geminis from Livingston

Well if the PVR is decreasing then you have your answer! Aberdeen needs a couple more higher capacity buses for the new Lochside Academy school runs starting next week.

To the best my knowledge there has been No PVP reduction at Livingston, Same for Larbert. It's only Stirling that seeing the cuts.

I'm not familiar enough with the Scotland East operation to comment on PVR reductions, but even if Stirling has some that will be a playing factor.

8 B7RLEs are now at Aberdeen (69254/258/263/282/283/284/290/294).
B10BLEs so far sent south are 62163/64/69/77/79.

Today B10BLEs 62149/51/52/53/55/65/66/78/80 were all out in service. 62150/81 remain at the depot rear. 62167 outside the workshops.

Any further news about Aberdeen bendis leaving or staying?

The 6 at Livingston (10162/67/68/69/73/83) are now at Larbet going through their MOTs pending transfer to Bath where they'll replace the remaining pair of W reg B7LAs along with increasing the Artic fleet there by 4 vehicles. The other 15 Artics will remain in Aberdeen.

I should note that while in storage at Livingston 10162/67/68/69/73/83 all got touch up paint jobs and are looking very fresh again.

Thank you for that Jordan Adam. Am I permitted to ask if that is fairly official news?

All these bendys need scrapped! Aberdeens 1 and 2s are seemingly busy routes in conjunction with Aberdeen being the birth place of first yet they indulged in not giving residents quality new vehicles, why?

Take note First, these would do.....
