Glasgow would be a good option. Stagecoach Fife run many services into Glasgow on the Express CityConnect routes. Also Stagecoach Glasgow also run service 900 from Glasgow to Edinburgh, plus a couple of other routes.

First Glasgow operate all over Glasgow and the outlying areas of Glasgow...

Sheffield, they both have significant operations there.

If anyone requires details of spotting locations in Sheffield, please feel free to contact me as I am local to the city and have spent many happy hours in recent years spotting and photographing.

Edinburgh. Loads of Stagecoach Fife services (at least 12 per hour each way) and the service out to Dumfries. Lot's of First stuff going all over the Lothians and the Borders.

AT weekends, Livingston, as the Stagecoach 51 only runs at weekends. Also add Carlisle Railway Station, with the 95 from Hawick run by First entering a city where you can also see Stagecoach and the odd Arriva bus.

In Fife, First route 651 (Livingston - Dunfermline) runs every hour. From Ferrytoll to Dunfermline, you can capture it amongst numerous Stagecoach Fife vehicles.

Portsmouth?

Yep, that works. Predominantly Barbie but with a healthy Stagecoach presence too.

Also the opportunity to sample some less common First types; the Scania Omnicity fleet and a couple of remaining Merc Beaver 2 minibuses come to mind, plus a handful of ex-Hong Kong Pointer Darts still with largely original-spec interiors. There are a couple of ex-London Marshall bodied Darts still running plus plenty of original Barbie Darts and Volvo/Wright Renowns, and a few assorted Solos. If you're into the new local livery variations there are lots of brand new Streetlite efforts in a dedicated 'The Star' livery, and a trio (I believe) of Enviro 400 deckers on the park and ride, brand spanking new. A short trip to neighbouring Fareham will let you sample the dedicated fleet on the new busway to Gosport as well.

Stagecoach have the usual fleet of Enviro 200 as well as E400 Scanias on the Coastliner 700.

Wow isn't the current scene terminally dull?! :-/ Just a few years back in Pompey there was all sorts; numerous unusual Iveco minibuses (including some with centre exits!), Darts with rare locally built UVG bodywork, others from Manchester with Northern Counties bodies, the unique ACE Cougar, and going back a few years further a few VRs and one of the last big fleets of Nationals. Now it's the same two fleets in every town!

The old pre privatisation Portsmouth corporation bus livery had to be the most drab colour scheme ever invented by man :D

Surely not worse than than NBC!? Admittedly the later versions were a tad restrained, though earlier efforts were much smarter. One later version which did work well though was the 'Starsky and Hutch' livery on the Nationals, very cool! :D

On schooldays only, how about Cairneyhill, Crossford, and even Queen Anne High School, Dunfermline? First East Scotland's Larbert depot runs six vehicles on Fife Schools work to that High School from those areas. And, as a bonus, five of the vehicles are kept in a yrd during the day, near the school, the sixth one taking the drivers back, and returning them to the yard in the afternoon to do the return legs.

How about Plymouth? Where you get a lot of First Devon meets Plymouth Citybus meets Stagecoach Gold, which ironically comprise of a large amount of First's former South Devon operations - before this, it wanst uncommon to see First / Stagecoach vehicles together in places like Totnes and North Devon.

Got photos in Totnes too of rather scruffy First and nicer Stagecoach kit side by side.

There is also Exeter which used to have 3 First firms running in but is now just FHD. Other minor places will be Taunton, Tiverton, Yeovil and Chepstow (not for long). A real oddity is Salisbury which is predominantly Go Ahead yet sees Stagecoach operate in from Andover and Winchester and First from Bath

Surprised no one has mentioned Hereford? Stagecoach run into there from Brecon, Abergavenny, Ross and Monmouth!

Technically they do still have that greenline route.

If we're talking Greater London there's the

7 Slough - Uxbridge
58 Britwell - Uxbridge
60 Eton Wick - Heathrow
61 Eton Wick - Heathrow
71 Slough - Heathrow
75 Maidenhead - Heathrow
76 Cippenham - Heathrow
77 Windsor - Heathrow
78 (Burnham) - Britwell - Heathrow
701/702 Bracknall - Victoria
Railair Reading - Heathrow

at the very least.

Stagecoach have two routes in Leicester, so that's somewhere they both operate.

There's a couple of Stagecoach routes run into Leeds - the X62 from Hull and erm...

As has been said earlier Sheffield.

Specifically for interest the University tram stop at the Junction of Glossop Road and Upper Hanover Street.

Major services about every minute ie*
Stagecoach Supertram going in and out of the tunnel-blue and yellow route.-every 10 minutes
51 first -anniversary painted buses X3 every 10 minutes,
52 First and Stagecoach every 5 minutes.
120 First and Stagecoach every 7 minutes.
95 First -ever 10 minutes
There are interchange able day tickets valid on available on some/all routes.
*Inbound 52 and 95 at the other end of the platforms.
Inbound 51 on the roundabout above the tunnel.

All run the length of West Street except inbound 51 which joins at Mappin Street.
Even more services at the junction of West Street and Leopold Street in the City centre. Castle Square would probably have about the same.

Ratho and Ingliston are on this list, as Stagecoach Fife route 747 passes through and stops en route to and from Edinburgh Airport.

Referencing the 651 from Livingston to Dunfermline, this means that Ferrytoll Park and Ride, Inverkeithing, Rosyth are on the list as well.

And then East Kilbride and Hamilton. Depp in First territory, but Stagecoach Western Scottish route X16 (Ayr - Kilmarnock - East Kilbride - Hamilton) serves those towns!

Barnsley is another option. I was out today grabbing some more train haulage and one of my stopping points was Barnsley station ( a new station for me) and the bus station is right next to the station and it was just constantly First and Stagecoach with the odd local operator thrown in.
