GNER's first MTU re-engined powercar, 43300, was showcased at Brush Loughborough in a cermony with Brush/GNER officials and has received cast 'Craigentinny' namplates pairing it with its home depot in Edinburgh.

An obvious modification is the addition of a new Wheel-Slip Protection System (WSP), the Junction boxes of which are visible painted orange on the bogie frames.
The powercar has not been modified with 48-way multiple working jumpers, as was originally planned after a last-minute re-think by GNER.
