Ah right, they're probably either still coming down or they're already in service

33315 is on the 27 and 33238 was seen departing Bodmin Shire Hall NIS.

Anyone any info when the Caetano's are leaving for Glasgow?

Not sure, cant be long now!

in the depths of last night I went down to Truro to collect a new van for my work from another store, just after midnight I passed one not in service heading eastbound on the A30 near Fraddon.

It could have been a bus transferring from one depot to another, I have seen buses late at night out of service on the A30. I saw a Dart well after midnight on the westbound A30 a few months ago.

I was the very first person to get on 44956, except for the driver of course xD, it was also the very first service the MMC had done! Absolute beauty!

inb4 it gets scratched up and the interior gets trashed.. :(

Was on service R2 from Summercourt Depot

--edit: Uh oh.. http://cornwall-by-kernow.simplesite.com/

30871 - 30880, 32045, 32819, 32853, 32872, 32955, 42860, 42924, 42946, 53107, 53205, 53402 - 53404, 53827, 65752, & 65753 are all being disposed of/sent elsewhere, and the Nimbuses are all being sent off soon too..

32874 made it into preservation which is a good thing

34258 is becoming a tree lopper

I'm hoping someone gets 42860, would be sad to see it scrapped/sold on/repainted..

Anyways, I guess this is goodbye to most of the old fleet..

Can see a fair few of these heading north as Glasgow is badly needing newer buses to get the Y/51 plate B10BLE's retired.

We did receive a few 06 plate darts from Bristol quite recently and we did get told we were getting more and I am wondering if these 03/05/56 plate darts will travel with the Nimbuses up north unless they are going elsewhere.

The deckers will more than likely be scrapped along with the varios

Traveline SW have now posted most of the Summer timetables. I've had a quick look at the Penzance-based ones. Main points to note:

A1/A2/A3 hourly again this year, so must have been a success last year.
11 withdrawn between Sainsbury's and PZ bus station, and Saturday service finishes early afternoon.
Paul loses all services (5 & A1) after early afternoon and all day Sundays. A pity, as there is a steady, if somewhat unspectacular, usage throughout the day for what is relatively minor diversion for the A1.

The M6 T/T has yet to appear, but I assume will be 3bph Mon-Sat daytime, hourly Sun evening restored. At a guess the two-hour evening diversion Mon-Sat will only serve Gwavas and not Paul/Sheffield.

The 16/A, A17, T1 look pretty much unchanged. The U4 has yet to be posted.

The M6 and U4 are now on Traveline.

Disappointingly, the M6 remains at 2bph Mon-Sat daytime for the Summer. I can foresee loadings problems. Also, they'll need to remove the "up to every 20 min" from the buses so as not to fall foul of the ASA! Sundays are increased to 2bph with an hourly evening service. The Mon-Sat evening service DOES continue to serve Paul and Sheffield rather than turning at Gwavas, meaning that Paul will have no service between 1400 and 2000, but a last bus at 0008 the next morning!

The U4 looks pretty much unchanged.

So a source who works at Caledonian Depot in Glasgow has told me the following buses are due to be arriving soon. (Depot allocation hasn't been arranged yet), These will be coming to help get the Marshall darts retired

42860
43854
43856
43859
43862
43868
43869
43870
43873
43810 (doesn't seem listed on the Kernow blog so unsure on this one)

As of 5pm yesterday nothing has arrived at Glasgow yet from Kernow

So if a larger bus has to sub on the M6 this summer Mousehole Harbour will only get an hourly service! I'll be keeping a wary eye on that one. I suspect the (surprisingly) widely-read Cornishman newspaper may also get some correspondence on the matter.

@JonnyB1984 Incorrect.

Glasgow are only to receive 43854 - 43874 from our fleet, anything else is being sent elsewhere, sold on, or scrapped.

Does anybody know what's happening with 32045?

Which has been happening regularly throughout the winter.

Cheers for info, normally my source is really good with the info as all previous transfers they have been 100% solid with the batch we got from Bristol.

We are supposed to be getting more Dart SLFs to retire our B10BLEs so unsure where they are coming from, will try and get more info on Wednesday :)

First West of England (Bath) have just retired Dart SLFs 42902-7/9/16 so perhaps it's those?
