E200 MMC 44968 was on the 10:35 47 service from Truro, Lemon Quay to Troon Square via Redruth, Portreath and Camborne
Uni E400s 33421 and 33422 were on 231 duties this evening from Truro College to Falmouth Moor via Perranwell
Caetano Dart 43860 was on the 243 service from Truro College to Portreath via Mount Hawke, a rare sight now seeing them in service as Kernow has said on their blog they are 'patiently waiting to emigrate to Glasgow'

They must go under there as one of my contacts Retrobus on Flickr has pics of them on that route ,

I know they go under, I’ve been on one going under. The driver very carefully positioned it so the air con unit was centre of the arch.

There is something rather odd in this line-up of Presidents at Summercourt depot, did you spot it? :P

(Photo credit goes to a mate of mine called Alex)
This is probably a daft comment, but - that pinky purple looks remarkably similar to the colour used by Vamooz. It's a Transdev idea that spread to Reading Buses, could it possibly be coming to Kernow as well? (If the reason they've been painted this colour is already known, please ignore this suggestion!)

It does indeed look the same colour as Vamooz. I think it's spread else apart from Reading.

Nothing can possibly rattle more than a Caetano Dart surely if so I cant believe it :lol:
haha! honestly, our marshalls are run into the ground as the routes they serve don't do them any justice. Housing estates with large speedbumps and plenty of potholes to shake them to bits!

Not all of them are that bad but most are haha!

I will no doubt be sick of these Caetanos after a day or 2 if they are that bad also!, just nice to get a different vehicle to drive for a change.

Yes but why bother in the first place? It's making an old vehicle look even older and gone from one TRU combination to another. Bizarre.

If I am correct, TT55 TRU (20558) will also be going in the Truronian green colours.

The reg it now holds (W4 TRU) is actually off of the plaxton cheetah we still have (56000)

Two went past Truro Railway station at 0840 with Truro college route numbers.

Trident 33031 on T2 duties this afternoon.
Quite a few E200 MMCs now appear on Truro College services as the number of Solos, Darts and Nimbuses reduce. Many of the Green E400 MMCs also appear on services to the East, so do the Tinners on Western services. The Uni fleet is starting to appear more frequently as the U3 service reduces to two services an hour, although 33301 and 33302 have only so far appeared on the 241

Green E400 MMC 33309 was on the 14:10 U1 service from Falmouth Moor and the 15:05 return service.

Good job I didn't place a bet on which one of the '18' plate vehicles would appear on the U1-U3 first, I would of certainly lost giving that two of them are for the Uni routes, certainly surprised to see a green MMC on the U1

I have not yet seen a green E400MMC on a T1 or T2, only a matter of time though!

Then I wasn’t expecting to see a Volvo B7TL on the T2 earlier today but luckily I did and got a photo.

I think it is the only one of that batch left in service.

@83G/84D You are correct.

You would have most likely seen 32097, being the only B7 ALX400 we have left in service. The only others we have out of normal service would be 32027 30875, 30879, & 30880 which are all driver trainer vehicles except for 32027.

and the only other Volvos we have (apart from B7s) would be 34258 (tree lopper) & 62238 (driver trainer)

So really we only have seven Volvos left in the entire fleet down here :(

Think he said it was 30878

Also, aren’t the open toppers not B7TLs?

True, but I left them out intentionally, as I have reason to believe they are for the atlantic coaster routes only (as they're all open toppers), but yes you are correct! This would leave the fleet with 16 Volvos left.

1 in regular service, 10 for the atlantic coasters, 4 as driver trainers, and 1 as a tree lopper.

Seeing 30878 in service has to be a rare sight, as most 308-- batch ALX400s have gone for scrap I believe

It was 30878 on T2 yesterday and I think the rest of the 308xx batch are stored at various locations pending collection by the scrap merchants. There’s one at Camborne (30874) and several more at Penzance. 32097 has been receiving a lot of work at Camborne recently after a long spell in store so could be destined for a return to service soon.

Bus station works update:-

Newquay- was here a week ago. The inside stands are still closed off with temporary buildings in use. Work also underway on the old waiting room / enquiry office.

Truro - resurfacing continues. One side has been tarmacked and blocks were being placed on top. The other side was slightly further behind with tarmacking just underway. The images were taken early this week so things should have progressed further since.

@83G/84D I knew it! I had a hunch it'd be joining us as we have 33111 and 33112, would only make sense to nab 33113 from Norwich!

@Whiteway215 My original intention coming on here this evening was to mention that, and I can confirm they are coming down with a few others.

--edit: Done some deep digging, and it seems as if South Yorkshire are getting rid of all their presidents by the end of the week.

33032, 33041, 33071, 33083, 33125, 33127, & 33230 are all said to be coming to our end according to the forums.

32108 - 32111, 32215 - 32220, & 32308 - 32312 are slowly going off fleet, so some of those could possibly join us? Not sure, but we'll have to wait and see!
