Are all 20 Caetano Darts still due to go to Glasgow?

Depending on who you believe on the First Glasgow thread, some (or ALL!) of the new single deckers are due soon anyway. I cannot see them needing all of the Darts now.

Over 50 St Austell College students tried to get rammed onto 23318 today, not enough space, so the driver swapped for 33313 which was supposed to be doing the 21 and later went in a convoy with 33315 on the 27 before splitting off to go to Dobwalls where the last of the students were dropped off.

In other news, 53209 has come down from Essex and is in Taunton, and 68302 has come back nearer to "home" and is now in Bridgwater.

Well would you believe it! There's been a 53209 in Yeovil depot for a couple of weeks now and for the last two days it's been in service on town route 51. Had a ride on it today as did a good friend yesterday so surely there's not two is there ?
Don't always believe what you see on UK buses, it' s about as steady as a jelly!

The rest of us all know that ;) It doesn't help certain enthusiasts sending incorrect information to the admin who compile the lists.

How are the A1/A2/A3 covered during the summer? Looking at the frequency compared to just a one bus A1 in winter, there's a summer uplift of 7 buses on the circuit. Are the drivers part timers or are most duties covered by rest day working. Here in Dorset, our summer uplift on the Breezers at Swanage are covered by Uni drivers once term ends.

When will we get rid of the scruffy solos and those horrid BMCs? Out of the two I'd rather see the backs of those BMCs though, drivers and passengers hate 'em all!

I think Taunton is shorthand for BoS and someone is forgetting that depots still have individual allocations up there

68302 has been at Bridgwater for some time. I saw it there a month ago.

Not previously noted is that Scania K114EB coaches 23317 and 23325 although still taxed are reported out of MOT by the DVLA. Is anyone in a position to confirm they are no longer is use please?

DVLA mot data for class 6 isn’t accurate. Of the fleet of 7 we operated on the Jurassic Mule this year, only two of those vehicles had digital MOTs, one which had a non digital mot this year had a digital MOT the year before so showed as expired instead of no data.

A Tinner was travelling out of service westbound on the Marazion By Pass at 18.15: two minutes later, I was behind another Tinner on the U4 Helston bound (it, not me!)

Thanks for the warning 'richw'. I'll remember that for future. I'm always aware that with the amount of data processed the DVLA do get things wrong but whenever I've checked MOT's in the past they are always spot on and I've no reason to doubt that in this case. If anybody sees them out and about shout up please if only to prove me wrong.
