For what it’s worth I believe these were still with Rotala so probably some will come to Bath. 33673/77/91/93/95/96/97/700/09/11/15/16/19/21/22/28/31/33/37/40/43/52/3That’s only my version and someone more on the spot may have better info.Plus FHD are due about another three for Hoeford and Weymouth.
33709 is at Weymouth along with 33726 which I’d missed off this list.

33700/07/09/26/27/29/42 are the Weymouth buses.

Edit - just seen Bath now have 33673/677/711/716/719/722/743/752-3/832 with more due.

and 33733 parked up there in transit to ?
Surely Bath would be a good bet? Do you mean they were parked at services? Steve White (and Swifty) report the arrival of nine at Bath and more of the 14 were due today.

30871 being converted to a library bus has had to be moved out of the paint/body shop at Bath to make way for the Diamond arrivals. I’ve had them described to me as ‘looking tired!’ But then as they were due to be taken off service Diamond would hardly lavish much attention on them.

FHD forum reports 33699 33704/30/34/35 are in Hoeford.
33707/09/24/26/27/42 in Weymouth with one more to arrive.
So confirmation required on Weymouth as reports conflict.

33729 was with First Manchester at Oldham not with Diamond.

There does need to be more buses out or a pre book system on buses. I was getting the 4 yesterday to work. As you know I live in Henbury, so not too many stops in and it was already down to the last few seats! Back to a few weeks ago when on the same trip I had the whole bus to myself.

To be fair they’ve never had a full repaint since new. First Manchester seem to spend more time painting B7RLEs than anything else. Their paint shop was at Bolton so I’m presuming nothing from Oldham has been repainted since the sale of Bolton.
Diamond have been very busy painting their own vehicles recently. All looking pretty smart.

The comment I heard was that 30871 was taken out to make way for the Diamonds to be repainted. Not clear if that meant a full or partial repaint. Has Bath Weston Island depot got the facilities to perform a full repaint? I thought that work was done at Avonmouth. Mentioning 30871 I was surprised that one was picked to be converted to a library bus as it had received a lot of damage to its roof following its argument with Bristol Parkway low bridge.I presume the damage is repaired but I haven’t seen a picture of its nearside.

Hmm, this makes me even more suspicious that the Diamond fleet will be used on unibus services. 7 purple ones for the U2 and 7 blue ones for the U5/6!

I'd like to think not. Would seem odd that the 3/3A/4 have 58 plate B9s in the main out all day whilst the U2/U5/U6 have 12 plates with some sizeable chunks of the year (not including the summer) where they're not used.

True, but you could just use them in the uni livery on other routes instead, such as the 1/18/19, during that period.

Would your suggestion be to paint the ex-Bolton and to use the ex-Mendip B9s instead?

They could use them on other routes but bit daft with the livery.

Having the ex Mendip and Bolton B9s on unibus would be good especially if they refurb the ex Bolton ones.

Good to see a handful of Badgerline B7s reappear on the tracker in Weston today! Perhaps this means a few of the loaned MMCs are heading back to Bristol!
I seen one on a 3 earlier this morning. The loaned vehicles will be in Weston until services are enhanced. They have been brought out because of social distancing, the Streetlites can only carry 10 passengers, whereas a decker can carry 20.
