Are these insane split up paths solely to try and hide it from casual observers of RTT and the like?

Running some 47 mins late...

Took this video as it passed me just South of Werrington Junction (running 25 mins late)

RTT showing it departing Peterborough at 14:52 but not reporting since then.

Going to be at the NVR until Wednesday

There was a car stopped on the A1 (with hazards on) and a bloke with a camera taking shots from the bridge over the NVR, when I drove past at about 7pm last night..... :)

Went on the Yorkshireman trip to York yesterday with Flying Scotsman. Pleased to say that everything went smoothly with timings and no problems with the engine or photographers on the tracks. However there was one incident at Alfreton where there was a short stop to take on water. One of the passengers got left behind when he didn’t get back on the train in time after getting off to take some photographs.
