I think somewhere in the Midlands would be better than Manchester if only because everything seems to be going to London or Manchester these days
. Mass transport would be more difficult without the tube though. Mind you I've no real problem with it being in London and following the Villa it won't bother me much
I wonder how much the FA would have to pay to essentially hire someone else's ground? It also leaves them without security unless some form of lease was signed. As for the Millennium Stadium politics demand the England national stadium be in England
If club grounds are used for domestic competition then how do you have a neutral venue if one of the teams plays their home games there (eg Man Utd at Old Trafford)?
