Went to Greater Anglia to cover their overhaul programme, then on to TPE. Since it came off lease last year, Porterbrook have now sold all the vehicles on to new owners.

A video from swearingkevo on YouTube from very recently, possibly just before COVID-19, has some of the "Pretendolino" being hauled by a pair of grey 20s with some barrier vehicles in the consist for good measure. Exact date and location unknown.

@JonathanH would it have been the same booked formation in 2009?

How many times did the formation change over the period 2009 / when it was VT Silver and Red livery -WB64 being taken out of regular service?

I'm not sure - I had a WB65 on 28 April 2009
-> 82101-11084-11086-11064-10242-12054-12094-12017-12124-11027

WB64 appears to have emerged from overhaul during 2009 - there appears to be a report at https://www.railforums.co.uk/threads/numbers-on-trains.26452/#post-348337 of a different formation
-> 82126-11027-11079-11048-10217-12138-12122-12011-12133-12078

http://web.archive.org/web/20080705080241fw_/http://www.abrail.co.uk/lhcs_pass.htm suggests that 11007 was added later replacing 11079, 11018 replaced 11027 and that 10217 was replaced by 10212.

I first had WB64 on 22 April 2010 by which time it was in formation quoted for 2011.

So what happened to 10212, In the last Abrail (2018?) it said CP AGA, but it's not listed in the 2020 Platform 5

There was a set of old Virgin liveried Mk 3s hired in from Cargo-D, initially while WB64 was being refurbished, then occasionally as cover, and on a couple of occasions two loco hauled diagrams did operate.

More info and pics at http://www.class90electriclocogroup.co.uk/class90_featured_artciles.html
I think I remember seeing a video of a class 90 in EWS livery (026 I think) hauling a mixed set of the old Virgin livery and BR blue Mk3As. Would that be WB65?

Could well have been! Cargo-D had a number of ex-Virgin Mk 3s and I think eventually painted them all blue and grey, shifting them to hire duties such as Wrexham & Shropshire while W&S's own stock was being refurbished, as well as operating Rail-Blue Charters. They went into administration and I think it was DB who bought the coaches and they ended up with Chiltern (I could be wrong)

Correct, it moved from Crewe to Bishop Auckland on January the 28th behind LSL's 47593 "Galloway Princess" along with 10212, 10229, 10689, 10699, 10531, 6702, 9804*** + 9711** + 6311*.

10212 & 10229 are now owned by Eastern Rail Services.
*** Ex Caledonian Sleeper now owned by Eastern Rail Services
**Mk2 DBSO owned by the Crewe Diesel Preservation Group
*LSL Mk1 Generator Van.

For completlessness, after it was finished with with Greater Anglia, several ex Pretendolino vehicles then moved down in December 2016 to Laira Depot supposedly for work ahead of their introduction to TPE. They then went up to Crewe in October 2017, Came back to Laira in 2017, Then moved back to Crewe for the TPE Driver testing. Ex Greater Anglia RFM 10229 seemed to then find use with GWR as a back up while it's own Mk3 RFMs were sent for refurbishment before returning back to Crewe (and despatching 10232 to the bin).

During which time, of course, 12078-12133-10212-11018 worked from Manchester Piccadilly to Manchester Airport and back on the night of 30 December 2017.

Although strictly not a coach from WB64, does anyone know what happened to Mk3 RFM 10245 that was sat at WCRC Carnforth for a few years? Is it still there or has it since been scrapped?
