A few people seem to be putting the names of those members they've met in their signature so let's all boast about it! ;) I have met (or at least seen if not spoken to) quite a number of folks, although some are from UKTS and other forums. See this list.

There are some impressive lists here! , although not quite all the people mentioned in 1 or 2 of those lists are registered here (to my knowledge). I've met about 30-40.

Just noticed HSTfan!!! was referring to not knowing about meeting Jamie. I can't think of a time when it would have happened either! :?

Well it was either HST Fan or somebody else.

It was when Yorkie wanted us all to run through Warrington to catch that Class 87 when you, OTS and somebody who I think is HSTFan refused to run whilst Me, Yorkie and Marv all ran for it.

So he got me to pretend to telephone Alex whom only I knew at the time to say that Alex had been out spotting at Stafford and the train was a Class 87 when he had seen it, though I dont think I was very convincing.

I got a cramp, and those who walked arrived with 10 minutes to spare as the train was running about 15 minutes late.

Nope, I certainly don't remember running through Warrington to get an 87 either...

HSTFan was there, Heart of Wessex was there (first time I ever met them), Marv wasn't.

What a day that was!

And yes we pretended it was an 87, when in fact we didn't know, thank goodness it was  and yeah it was late so we could have just walked, typical!

I'll never forget the conductor who saw our tickets to Hag Fold... "HAG FOLD?! Where's that?!"
