Freightliner Derailment : Kingsbury

Freightliner 4L68 dropped on the floor at Kingsbury Junction. Birmingham - Derby blocked.

I believe this happened around 13:30hrs.

Mashed the points up too according to TRUST.

Everything being cautioned over affected points.

Not necessarily, depends exactly where the derailment happened and how. It is difficult to tell off that picture, but NR do not run the shunt frame or look after the metals there apparently. It also depends on whether the problem was the box and it's loading at Birch Coppice.

Bit early for this investigation to be completed and root cause established
