Strange! I went to a caf in Palma Nova (Mallorca) and there was a sign there which said:
"Please choose from our selectioned cakes which cakeyou would like"

A lot of those are due to imprecise translation - for example

"Not to perambulate the
corridors in the hours of repose in the boots of ascension."

is really

"Do not walk in the corridors at night in ski boots"

Try shoving a simple phrase "The cat sat on the mat" into an online translator, and translate it to another language, and then back again - you'll often notice the difference.
