Future for LM 321s

Yes I know this has been discussed before but this was some time ago.

Am I right at the moment all we know is there future with LM remains strong? I realise the new stock will not release these units.

I am surprised they have not been refurbished internally?

Any chance they could end up on Liverpool workings or are some drivers not signed for them?

I vaguely recall something about their being required for the St Albans services - is there a platform length issue or something?

I suspect there may be some change in LM's 321 fleet if and when the St Albans line goes over to light rail.
