I understand today's scheduled move of 90s from Crown Point to Basford Hall has been caped. The moves are now planned for tomorrow and Friday.

Local newspaper reports vandals having a smashing time with Mid Norfolk heritage coaches so perhaps leasing company want their stock off the MNR asap.

Thank you for the extra info - much appreciated.

Any idea why they were heading to Long Marston?
Railway Herald has a cover photo of this working quoting the locos as 37059 and 37042 and incorrectly saying it was a Crown Point to Long Marston Working.

Has the Crown Point to Basford Hall move been cancelled again today or is it just late leaving Crown Point depot?

Not sure if this has already been noted on this thread but I understand the Mid Norfolk have purchased a number of the Greater Anglia Mark 3s that were stored on their line. Do not know their numbers but seems to make sense as they will have had no transport costs to pay as they were already there! Hope they chose the best ones.

This is confirmed in the MNR Blastpipe magazine. I think it said 8 coaches.

Not previously mentioned is the preservation of DVT 82121 at the Colne Valley Railway.

What’s the maximum number that can go in one move - is 5 allowed?
I've definitely seen and heard of bigger light engine moves than 5. So I suppose its possible for all those to go at once, unless there is a reason I'm unaware of.

Might we see some of their existing Mark 3 carriages dispatched away from the railway?
