Reports from Richard Clinnick on Twitter today that the first of the 90s leave Norwich for Freightliner on Friday...
Is there any news on this? I can't seem to see anything on RTT but I could've missed it

The move today has been cancelled according to RTT so I'm guessing the ones for the rest of the week will be as well. And as you say, they'll presumably start next week

Picture from the East Anglia Daily Times of the 90's waiting to leave:

Article:

Greater Anglia’s fleet of electric locomotives, which hauled Intercity trains to London for nearly 20 years, is preparing to move out to a new life as a freight workhorse.

Most are being leased to Freightliner, which hauls container trains around the country....

They have now lined up many of the trains at their depot ready for them to be taken to their new home depot...

I shall miss the 90's, coming out of Liverpool Street in a Mk3 gaining speed. British designed and engineered trains have a certain "feel" to them which I don't think others do and slowly as they go I miss them.

Same :( The railways won’t be the same without locos and slam door carriages it’s as simple as that.

Probably a good thing that there's less surfaces to touch now, but I appreciate the sentiment.

A path has appeared on RTT for Weds 6th from Crown Point to Basford Hall. DRS operated I believe. I understand the plan is for a second move on Friday 8th, but no path on RTT yet. Assumption is that there will be 4 locos in each move, leaving 4 to go presumably w/c 11th sometime.

I know what you mean about British trains, they do have a different feel.
I will miss the THUMP you got setting off from Liverpool street on nearly every journey as the 90 pushed up against the coaches.

Updating my own post, the second path has appeared but for Thursday 7th.

A set of about 8 Mark 3 coaches were moved today from the Mid Norfolk Railway to Long Marston on this path:

https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/18565/2020-05-05/detailed

power was a pair of class 37s (unidentified but 1 was in DRS livery and the other in large logo blue). Seen and heard in Nuneaton this morning at around 11:30 am. I (mis)timed and routed my daily walk to take in Nuneaton station, but as I approached the station front they departed, hence the long distance view from the car park and listen as they climbed from platform 6 towards Birmingham.

The locos were 37059 and 37402. The real headcode of the move was 5Z50.
