Gateline Assisitant Advice and interview

I am going to an interview this week for a Gateline Assistant and I am looking for some more information on what this job entails. Any help would be appreciated.
What does a normal day look like for them?
What do they do when it's not busy?
stuff like that, I just want to be prepared.

Best piece of advice would be to buy a coffee and go and watch a gateline for an hour.

If its quiet, they usually do enjoy a good chat.
