It will be interesting to see what happens with the experimental /7, as some of the above issues might finally be fixed.

After the success of the /6, National Express should be ashamed of the results of half-arsed work on the other stock and some stupid schoolboy errors with regards to the air conditioning install. Let's see if someone can use their brain and get it right now - as the 317s have plenty of life left in them.

Even now, simply giving them a 317/6 style refurb, but with an accessible toilet and aircon, would suffice. It wouldn't even need a costly redesign.

Does anyone know if 709 and 723 have nameplates on both sides, or just one? Sounds daft but I can only find pictures of names on one side. Thanks
