Hmm - last time I asked about the turn up and drive it was 21 (whether that's changed, or whether it's in place because they know nothing about you, I don't know).

78019 was turned yesterday, it is now facing South.
Don't miss out on the double heading of Diesel Locomotives on the 5.10 RB departure on BOTH Saturday and Sunday. Saturday includes extra services running well into the night! Shunting will be taking place at Quorn throughout the day.

Come along to the 1960's Gala and feel the hustle bustle of the Railways as Steam replaced Diesel on 25/26 March 2006 at the Great Central Railway!

I think it depends on the line, I think it is 21 on the ELR...? ;)

It's 21 I believe to drive. Guard and Fireman must be over 18.

Sounds like an interesting weekend!

If I'd known about this event sooner I would have made plans to go, considering the GCR is only 90 minutes or so from me.

Our next event is the "Wizards and Witches" weekend on the 26/27 April 2006.
However, if you prefer something a little more grown up our diesel gala will take place on the 13/14 MAy 2006 (details to follow).
