George Best sadly died today at 12:55 pm. Even though i'm not really into football, he was a sporting legend who'll be missed.

Excuse me for sounding so harsh in such circumstances, but there are many more people who have done far better things for this country, and the world as a whole, who do such things without pay, or living with very little money and few followers, who live their lives and pass away without recognition.

A death is a sad affair for anyone and their friends & family.

Someone died today in the DRI - they do every day. Will they be on the news?

Depends on whether they were a sporting icon or not......

Would that be the Derbyshire Royal Infermary or Doncaster Royal Infermary?

The latter, but I suspect the same is true of all hospitals in the UK. People die.

Not meaning to sound too horrible, but unfortunatly, I have no sympathy for him! He got a new liver after he ruined his own, then carried on drinking! How selfish can you get! I am also a HUGE Manchester City fan so I wouldn't have that much sympathy if he had died naturally. :? But, he was quite good from what I've seen... :)
