Curiously, on the Google Earth satelite image if you follow the Metropolitan line from Preston Road towards Northwick Park and zoom in so that the view is 'angled', just after the line crosses Windermere Avenue there seems to be a 3 car S stock train! Bet it's a bit draughty in the last carriage!

It's where two different images have been stitched together. IIRC at one point there was a Eurostar with one coach leaving Waterloo International...
