Google on ipad

Hello

Switched on my ipad this morning, attempted to browse using google (on Safari and Google Chrome) only to find that the layout of the search results has changed completely, seemingly to prioritise mobile friendly sites.

Layout is much more confusing and makes it significantly harder to browse, to use the old expression - "if it ain't broke don't fix it!".

Has anyone else experienced a similar change?

I haven't seen this change yet, did it do it automatically? They always seem to switch things around :/

I noticed the change earlier today when using my Android tablet.

Not sure I like it but am giving it a chance rather than requesting the desktop site.
