Grand Central 180 Numbers

I am sure there is a simple answer to this, but it is not obvious to me!

On the Grand Central class 180s, where in them is their actual number? I pass them at Kings X and can never see the 180nnn anywhere!

On one of the couplers. Generally only at 1 end.
You can use the internet to decipher the numbers from the carriage numbers too if you wish.

The ones that are ex. GWR are above the couplers, however, they're white in colour, and 125mph running often dirties them up greatly.

The current ABRail database reckons they are all in as delivered formation, and therefore the vehicle numbers xxxNN directly match up to units 1801NN.

I go off the carriage numbers. Last 2 digits off carriage number is last 2 digits of TOPS I believe.

I try to go for the coupler numbers, but on one unit they've put the carriage number on the coupler... And white on yellow is hard to get even if it is sitting in the station after cleaning!
