Great helpful staff

    Hello.

    I had the most helpful member of staff help me get a season ticket refund from First Capital Connect, even though he works for South West Trains. I thought it might be nice to have a section to mention helpful, friendly staff, so thanks Graham Voller. You were excellent!

    Have you sent an email to SWT? Might be a bit more beneficial to the staff member involved.

    Anyone who works for Northern in and around Manchester to Southport and Chester (rarely venture outside this area on Northern). All the staff on these routes are a credit to Northern! Helpful, friendly and polite!

    SWT do have some very helpful staff as I have said before, unfortunately though sometimes it is a case of knowing where they are.

    I can second this for at least the Chester stretch. Oxford's station staff also immediately spring to mind.

    yes, but there are other threads regarding his dismissal by SWT, in fact he is due to attend a tribunal appealing against this today

    the staff who work on the front line for Northern are a credit to the company. Given the rolling stock that they have to work with they remain professional and helpful at all times. With new and additional rolling stock to increase capacity and ride quality, Northern would be one of the best TOC's in the country in my opinion. Just a pity that the age,capacity and quality of their trains seriously lets them down

    I urge you to tell SWT customer relations, they love this sort of thing and personally there is nothing better than getting 'official' praise from a customer!

    Not the guard i got on harrogate line the other day. ALthouh generally northerns staff are a credit to the company and this was a very rare case.
