Tempted myself but being midweek it’s going to cost me a fortune with other rail to get there.
The farewell tour is sold out. Gen on the UKmodernemu group is the last three pairs of 313s will switch to 717s on Monday 30th September. It's not known at the moment if they will run on the 28/29th.Tempted myself but being midweek it’s going to cost me a fortune with other rail to get there.

LE from Leicester https://live.rail-record.co.uk/rail/liverail/train/1063004/30/08/19
5Q78 Hornsey to Newport https://live.rail-record.co.uk/rail/liverail/train/1062992/30/08/19
According to Open Train Times 5Q78 ran departing 11 late and arrived Newport on time.did those 2 go in the end?
Been travelling on GN today looking for 313s, not many about at all. There have been long gaps in service during the day due to "lineside equipment failure", but I have only noticed three six-car sets working. May be more in the peaks. Anybody wanting a ride or take final photos had better be quick! How many of these 313s are in service on weekdays now? Is there a specific diagram for them or is it just what is available at the time?

There's a pair in the southernmost roads in Hornsey, one is 044 but i couldn't see the other unit, defo ones for disposal as it looks torn apart inside.
Is “30 road” viewable without being on the train, I’d love to see the pair before they go, but taking photos moving isn’t ideal.
There are seven pairs diagrammed now, five out all day, two stable at Hornsey between the peaks. I think the plan is one pair goes per week for the next few weeks with all remaining diagrams being wiped out on the 30th.How many of these 313s are in service on weekdays now? Still lots about. They seem to be on specific diagrams.
From WGC Monday - Friday
0739
0754
0809
From Moorgate
1709 Moorgate- Gordon hill
1715 Moorgate - WGC
Still seem to run the majority of weekend services because of their better reliability.
Other services of course operate with 313s but I see / use these on a daily basis.
313 033 on the back of 14:20 Moorgate to Welwyn GC.
Hoping to see 1 more at Finsbury Park right now.
What do the numbers in brackets mean?Currently in the off-peak period, the following [SX] departures from Moorgate are almost always covered by a 313 unit. Obviously this list will become shorter as more 717s are brought in:
- 1029 to WGC (5)
- 1110 to WAS (1)
- 1140 to WAS (2)
- 1200 to WGC (3)
- 1220 to WGC (4)
- 1225 to HFN (5)
- 1350 to WGC (1)
- 1355 to HFN (3)
- 1420 to WGC (2)
- 1429 to WGC (5)
- 1441 to WAS (4)

Cheers, don't worry about it.There are currently five all day diagrams and so I added the numbers in brackets to show what each diagram covered. For example the units that work the 1110 to WAS, then go on to work the 1350 to WGC. I should have added this text in my earlier post, so apologies.
This service was cancelled between Foxhall Jn and Newport Docks (Simsgroup) due to a problem with the track (IS).It appears something is wrong with either 37800 or the pair of 313s as its had to turn back towards Didcot
