I am trying to book a journey from Sheringham to Sudbury on wednesday 01/08.
I want to go:
14:46 Sheringham-Norwich 15:41
16:30 Norwich-Colchester 17:28
17:48 Colchester-Marks Tey 17:54
18:05 Marks Tey-Sudbury 18:25

But ticket websites will only let me go:
14:46 Sheringham-Norwich 15:41
16:00 Norwich-Colchester 17:02
17:12 Colchester-Marks Tey 17:18
18:05 Marks Tey-Sudbury 18:25

Is there anyway I can book the journey I want to because Norwich is a must nicer station to wait at for that length of time than Marks Tey?

You can increase interchange times on NRE, that should do the trick.

Just checked the journey planner at southeasternrailway.co.uk and got this:

14:46 Sheringham-Norwich 15:41
16:00 Norwich-Colchester 17:02
17:48 Colchester-Marks Tey 17:54
18:05 Marks Tey-Sudbury 18:25

Currently £5 for an advance single. I've only ever been to Colchester a couple of times so can't really comment on the atmosphere of the station but you'll see a wider variety of stock passing through. Hope this helps.
