A signal box whose name was formed of two words which rhymed with each other because only the first letter was different.
The line it served was a victim of the Beeching Axe but survived the entire 1960's. However, an exact year for the closure of the signal box itself is hard to pin down as freight traffic in the area continued for some years after the withdrawal of passenger services.
