Wasn’t 766 blocked in at Cardiff over the weekend and borrowed by Arriva for a trip to Fishguard? If so, working out on the 06:30 would seem eminently feasible.

Booked to stay overnight at Canton Friday (normal working) and then 0630 this morning.

Gutted I missed a GWR 158 going past my house! Haven't seen that since the Severn Tunnel Closure in Autumn 2016, where GWR used a 150 on a morning Swansea to Cardiff stopper.

Yes, indeed and will more than likely be on 2C67 tomorrow...

Actually looking at the diagrams for this week, seems as if 2U02 then goes on to do a BPW - PMH service so 158957 will probably not be on 2C67 tomorrow.

Wont be as booked over the two days for nearly three weeks yet due to the Severn Tunnel closure. 158957 was on Exeter Depot at 0830 this morning but don't know of any subsequent working.

And 957 heading towards Penzance again this morning on 2C42. A 3 Car working a 2 Car Diagram and Pompeys running around with 2 Cars but if one starts Bristol and the other one at Fratton you can't do much about it.

GWR are running one train a day in each direction via Gloucester. The one from Cardiff to Bristol is in the morning, but would have left Cardiff at 6.30am so not sure if that is what the post was about. Or it may have been about a Portsmouth - Parkway service (that usually would go to Cardiff).

158766 has gone down west today - West Wales - visting Pembroke Dock and Fishguard Harbour. Being hired by ATW as it was was trapped at Canton due to Engineering Work.

Not available to ATW today as it went back at 19+36 from Cardiff Cen to PM (via Gloucester) last night.) As an aside from the topic tittle, ATW borrowed 150223 for their Blaenau Ffestiniog Branch today freed up by Northern strike.
