GWR 158s Exeter and West.

The last time I travelled down to Exmouth it was onboard a class 158, then again from memory it was the summer of 2001!

A 158/9 worked to Exmouth one Sunday last Summer when it was allocated to the Devon Metro following earlier failure. It didn't go to Barnstaple as Sundays have a different service pattern.

158763 did run on this service. Seen it in Paignton. I thought the plan was for 158s to run Barnstaple to st James Park. I thought 150/2s were due to run Exmouth to Paignton or has that plan changed?

That is the plan but can't take place until later in the year when the 158s can be released from Cardiff to Portsmouths dependant on when there have been enough Turbos cascaded from Reading. The 150/2s are intended to run in pairs
