Didn't see today's run out sheet but 002 was on the second and 185 on third HST departures from PZ this morning, both leading.

43185&197 didn't come out of Penzance.
43002 was the third one.saw it at exeter midday.

Where is "LE" please? (I suspect its Landore, but not everyone is aware of this abbreviation).

It's the depot code for Swansea Landore depot.
LA is Plymouth Laira TMD
OO is Old Oak Common HSTD (West London)
PM is Bristol St Phillips Marsh HSTD
EC is Craigentinny (near Edinburgh) TMD
NL is Leeds Neville Hill TMD
DY is Derby Etches Park TMD
Those being the main HST depots for GWR, XC, LNER & EMT.

Yes, noticed that. Should be 002&188 for last HST to leave Landore. With 43140 (Landore Diesel Depot 1963 Celebrating 50 Years 2013/Depo Diesel Gandwr 1963 Dathlu 50 Mylnedd 2013) gone to Scotrail already, that's surely the most symbolic pairing.

Do you know if 002 is coming back to Penzance today?
Looking at Real Time Trains it seems to suggest it may be doing two runs to Plymouth today, after leaving Paddington.

Currently towards the end of 1A11 then diagrammed for:
