All 153s now at Exeter. No 2 car 165s out West yet. Perhaps these will be diagrammed for Melksham when available

The 153s have all been at Exeter for over a month now and the 165s will run coupled to 166s to run the Cardiff to Portsmouths as 5 Cars.

Spot on. The 2 cars will be getting their RHM after the 16 x 166 and then they should be regulars on the Melksham turns.

Ah.. 2 different opinions to my post! I didn't think all 10 165s would be captive to Portsmouth services.

Only 1 Turbo out on the Cardiff - Taunton diagrams instead of the booked 3. Are there any Turbos out for repairs?

Possibly a lot having SDO (Selective Door Opening) modifications fitted for Wessex Mainline services. Currently only a few Turbos retain these modifications.

Thanks for putting me right on the 165s. The Melksham capacity was a great improvement from the 153s when 2 car but 3 just over the top,

Possibly a lot having SDO (Selective Door Opening) modifications fitted for Wessex Mainline services. Currently only a few Turbos retain these modifications.
Makes a good sense to take more Turbo fleet out of service now to speed up so that majority have SDO mods before a bulk of 150/1 go off to Northern in the next few weeks.

Thanks for confirming. I noticed there is a 9M02 0702 Westbury - Southampton Central service which then forms 2M97 0823 Southampton Central - Great Malvern. I don't see any additional working under "9M97" so are you able to confirm or not this is a Turbo diagram?

Appreciate everyone taking an interest in the thread I have done here and helping out with diagrams that need to be added/rectified to the thread. With the Turbos starting service to Weymouth and Warminster last week and to Southampton this week, I have been trying to keep on top of mainly the weekday diagrams. Have been informed that service was a Turbo yesterday, so it should be a booked diagram. It's now in the thread.

Looks to be a 153 out and about at Westbury today. Journeycheck reporting 08.45 Westbury to Gloucester formed of 1 coach. That’s if it runs, currently a points failure south of Westbury and a broken down train on the Melksham line if Journeycheck is anything to go by!

SWR 158 on that one.

I understand they are on stop with SDO due problem obtaining parts.

Could you tell me how you come across this information please? I am an ignoramus as to what is available online and what not, except for RTT. I imagine your source is 'private' otherwise you would not have to reproduce the data on here for those who are interested.

Not private at all, I mainly find out through Facebook groups and sometimes from spotting myself. Also from people who inform me here.

Can anybody confirm what was on 2M97 Southampton-Great Malvern today. Bashing this one next week, and I am still trying to get over being able to get on a Turbo at Salisbury.

Are there really 14 RHM modified 166s available at Bristol to work the 14 diagrams listed as current on a daily basis? Late last week there were still six unmodified 166s in use at Reading (201,215,217,218,220,221) and 209 was still in use at Reading at the start of last week although it has since disappeared so it may well have gone West. Assuming 209 has gone West, then it must have been modified very quickly to be in use already or else 14 units for 14 diagrams would at face value appear to be a bit tight.

That diagram is operated by an SWR 158.

There are posters on here and other forums who work for GWR, so there is a combination of some in the know, providing info that they feel is appropriate, as well as observers and enthusiasts observing RTT and operations, like myself

166209 is definitely in the West. 166s still at Reading as per your list (also 166211 but that’s currently at Long Marston for Mods)

Went to Yarnbrook (near Trowbridge) for my hours lunch break between 1500 and 1600.

2E24 Weymouth - Gloucester: noted an un-ID 166 as it passed when I got there.
2O90 Great Malvern - Weymouth: was worked by SWR's 158888
2M13 Swindon - Westbury: worked by 166213

However, what has been neatly tabulated in post #164 isn't necessarily in internal diagram format, it can also be worked out by taking individual services on RTT in time order and making realistic assumptions based on incoming and outgoing platform allocations at the main stations at the ends of routes.
