I am unsure what is happening with 410 both for open day and long term. Its certainly operational. I only found out yesterday that there are rumours of it being disposed of elsewhere on internet but been told it's not going anywhere yet. Will have to get confirmation. Hope not.
If it was to go for scrap, I'm surprised no pres line has looked at getting it.

Wasn’t there a plan for GWR to standardise on either the 90V or 110V electrical variant of 08 - I can’t remember which, though?

Looks like 410 will be leaving us sometime after April. It's voltage is non standard compared to the other 08s in the fleet. Start saving someone....... !
08645 has been publicaly confirmed for the open day.
Unconfirmed but should be a refurb buffet and a D coach easy access sleeper to view.

1C99 last night terminated Par 46 L following activation of Hot Box Detector and shunted to Chapel Sdg. A 57 is scheduled to run down from Reading to Par this afternoon

http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/O95981/2019/04/03/advanced

GWR Journey Check states 1A40 will start from Plymouth tonight and will be held for
approx quarter of an hour for Cornish passengers who will travel up on a XC service to connect.

I am not aware which vehicle was affected but with another loco on the way it could have been the loco (57604) which looks destined to take the stock back to Plymouth/Laira

I was impressed with the day yesterday, well worth the long trip down. Good show all round, well organised I thought.

Presumably 10229 will go back to TPE once it is proven in service.

I doubt that, as the TPE sets should be in the process of being disbanded sooner or later. I reckon it'll probably end up in storage either in Crewe Yard or direct to Long Marston.

Speaking of the RFMs, does anyone happen to know what has happened to 10232 of late. I note that it moved to Long Marston, but seems to have disappeared from there.

10232 was an utter basket case - it has gone to Booth’s for scrap.

Will the barrier vehicle come back to Long Rock and also when should 08410 be leaving Long Rock?

I knew it had a sieve as a floor but its seated area was one of the better ones if anyone wants some spares for their preserved mk3.
I’m not really sure what spares anyone would want off it?

Not sure of the reason however tonight’s 2145 Penzance -Paddington sleeper is formed of IET set 802110.

First occasion this has happened?
