Will relax once medical is booked and course date set. HR woman said she will call tomorrow so fingers crossed.

I had sort of given up hope and just agreed on a new position in my current job which is due to start in a few weeks but this trumps that by far.

Looking forward to it

Thanks guys
Did you get a course date?

I have been asked to attend the assessment centre, but I am starting a new role on the 23rd September at Reading, am I correct in thinking that I can't attend or apply for a role for 6 months?

If you’re starting a new role for GWR this month you won’t be able to move to another role with them within 6-months.

Hi, long time lurker here.

I have an assessment center for the end of the month for BTM. :)

How I interpret the email is that I will sit paper & computer tests but I read hear some people turn up and just sit stage 1 - paper tests.

Has this happened to everyone or will I more likely sit all tests plus the MMI.

Cheers

Yes mate January 6th
Unfortunately penzance was full so now been offered par. Bit of a drive but I'll take it

How strict are they on the commute time and do you know how they check it. Its a slight concern for me and I have my DMI next week.

Google maps typically 65 mins door to door driving
Train times vary around 52 to 62

No idea how they check it, but I'm about 55 mins from par.

I think it's a generic email. I think someone on here said they only recently stopped doing both tests on the same day, and it's now just paper tests.

Can anyone shed any light on what questions they were asked at their D.M.I interview with GWR? Any help is greatly appreciated... :D

Having received lots of messages asking for tips on DMI etc following my successful one, I’ve decided that I would put up the list of questions I made up of literally everything I thought I could be asked. Everything I was asked, was on this list, others feel free to add, it’s just a guideline to help others prepare.
