Hello. Just found this thread. I applied for the Talent Pool for Bristol Temple Meads at the end of June 2019. Completed the online assessment the same day. Still showing as Submitted in my First Group Careers account. No idea how long until the next stage. Been told by HR I will be contacted.

Received today which was pretty quick as I was only there yesterday. We are pleased to inform you that you have completed the assessment process and were successful at your interview. Whoop Whoop

I'm over the moon that the application process is over, Now the waiting game for a medical and start date, I actually felt a bit sick opening the email and feared the worse. :)

Yes, first time of applying and first attempt for a driver role. Applied in April 2019

They swapped my DMI and stage 2 around so I went into stage 2 with the DMI already completed, which helped me in my mind as that was the part of the process that I was least looking forward to and probably got me to the end of the process quicker.

Incredible news Cannon, congratulations. I have my DMI for Plymouth soon, also an April applicant. Hope I can follow in your foot steps.

So a spot of good news today. Received a call to offer me a spot on the December course as someone has withdrawn. Resigned to having a long wait so was straight out of the blue!
Happy days :p

Anyone had any feedback from the September Medicals? Doc passed me as fit for work so just wondered what the next phase would be. Uniform fitting was done the same time as the medical.

Have you been given a start date? If you have, about 10-14 days before you will get joining instructions informing you where and when to be at your home depot.

I emailed them and they said the formal offers had been requested and I should have my contract in a few weeks, my medical was the 25th September
