Hi
Been a while since I posted . I got placed in a talent pool September 2019 and was told would probably be March before placed . Last posted here august last year ... I’ve not had any communication from GWR at all .
Has anyone else around the same time as me heard anything ?

I was placed in a talent pool for trainee driver in feb 2020, with an anticipated start date of spring 2021 depending on place in talent pool etc. I havent heard anything, but did email them earlier this year to which they said im still in the pool but cant provide any more information at the moment due to covid etc

January 2020 I was placed in pool for Exeter St David’s. Not heard a thing... All down to COVID I guess?

What email address did you use? I’ve not been able to reach them

I heard that training was to resume in full in June. It’ll take a while to catch up with the backlog of students currently training. Is this accurate? I applied for Exeter St. David’s

I think i emailed [email protected].

Not sure when training is to resume to be honest. I know railway recruitment can take ages under normal circumstances, so when you throw covid into the mix its only going to increase the time. Im just gonna sit tight and hopefully the call will come some day in the next 3 years.

Out of interest what's the difference between a train manager and a conductor?
