No Turbo on the 16.40 Gloucester - Weymouth all week, this week. Was a mixture of 158s and 150s. Even had a double 150/1 yesterday which is rare now in GWR territory!

Presume it's no longer a booked Turbo diagram or just an unavailability of Turbos like @PHILIPE said.

There seems to be quite a few mentions of trains not stopping at local door only stations recently in the West due to ‘a fault on this train’ - does this mean that some Turbos have not been fitted with the additional local door control, or has it just malfunctioned on some units?

Wait until next week. I've got a feeling this could be in connection with Cheltenham Races as 2E26 shown to attach Bristol TM.

Shuttles between Bristol Temple Meads and Chippenham operating this Saturday, both diagrams should be Turbo operated. However, one or both of the diagrams could be substituted for a Sprinter due to a recent shortage of available Turbos.

I’ve noted that on JourneyCheck - GWR now use a message when a train can not stop at local door station.

The other day showed two Bristol bound trains in a row not stopping at Chetnole and Thornford leaving approx 6 hours between services there! Also Avoncliff and Dilton Marsh getting a raw deal at the moment.

Cardiff to Portsmouths often call specially at Avoncliff and Dilton Marsh if a Turbo has been unable to call.

I experienced this first hand last weekend, ended up spending an extra hour at Avoncliff.
It's unacceptable for GWR to diagram 166s for these services when not all of them have the door mods.

Not in my experience, passengers are left to fend for themselves, and are getting fed up with the unreliable service.

What would you prefer, GWR cancel the service entirely?

Agree. Turbos are now the predominant type of unit radiating from Bristol so if not allocated to a job without SDO, they would be hanging around doing nothing and trains being cancelled.

There seems to be a mixture of Turbos and 158s working the Cardiff To Great Malvern services at the moment too!

Anyone have any more diagrams that I can add to this which are not displayed? Thanks.

There are 14 x 166 Diagrams at the moment and I have quoted 15. On current form delete 0733 Westbury to Swindon etc. which has seemingly gone back to 2 Cars (15x)

I believe that diagram is still booked a Turbo, as it is some days. They may be using a 15x on it most days so the services can call at Melksham, as majority of the Turbos have not yet received the ASDO door mods.
