Nono, what I mean is to use a password comprised of several random ASCII characters - so it will choose punctuation, caps, numbers etc. I've got a program which will generate random passwords if anyone wants a copy.

They may have, but there are 127 ASCII characters. If you wanted to do a brute force attack on an unknown 6-character password you'd need to do about 4 billion combinations, as opposed to a couple of thousand from a dictionary.
