Can anyone tell me what a day at Hatfield and Stainforth would be like as opposed to a day at Doncaster? On average a nine hour stint (1000-1900) at Doncaster gives up to 30 different freight locomotives.

Would it be best sticking to Doncaster or going to Hatfield where the avoiding traffic can be seen?

Thanks for any information

I don't have access to a Freightmaster so cannot say which one will be best, but I wouldn't particularly want to be spending 9 hours at Hatfield station, not the nicest of areas. At least Doncaster has shops and toilets.

Stick to Doncaster. More types of freight (and more in general), plus Hatfield and Stainforth isn't exactly the nicest area to be in ....

Definitely stick to Donny if you're on your own.
Or go a bit further and go to Barnetby.
