How often has this happened to you?

I heard a loud noise, which I wondered might be a helicopter, so looked at flightradar, and it is the top flight being tracked worldwide:

It was very low and therefore very loud.

Edit: looks like the helicopter belongs to Richard Harpin.

I happened to have been onboard the #1 worldwide tracked flight back on the 15/02/2023 due to bad weather in Madeira - resulting in 2 go arounds, holding for a while before diverting to Porto Santo. Got sent the screenshot by relatives tracking my flight after they heard what was going on.

Something similar when we were stranded on the Isle of Man, with several Easyjet planes trying to land, aborting, trying again and returning. Of course everyone at the airport was hooked on flightradar, but there were a couple of thousand logging in as well, wish I'd done a screenshot but I had other things on my mind!

But generally flightradar is brilliant when you have a flight, airport information is, frankly, pathetic - that's if you can find the screens hidden away - with flightradar one can track your plane as it goes about it's daily business, see where it is, see where it's been delayed etc.

I was aboard the number 1 tracked flight worldwide when I went on the inaugural JetBlue from Amsterdam.

Not quite number 1, but the Emirates A380 departure from Glasgow was number 2 last week for some reason. It flies directly over my work most days.
