Firstly apologies if this is in the wrong section.
I am currently trying to amass as many as photographs as possible of Kyle of Lochalsh station\yard\depot prior to the introduction of DMU'S.
I did need help with the ID of a photograph I came across.

I just posted this thread thinking the visable part of the number on the tender said '109' and I have after a lengthy post discussing the pros and cons of the two most likely locomotives, I took another look and saw its '409' !!!
Thus it is surely this locomotive - ex HR - LMS 14409 ''Ben Alisky'
http://www.ambaile.org.uk/detail/en/25323/1/EN25323-lms-14409-ben-alisky-at.htm
Am I correct?
I will take the opportunity to ask if anyone has any photographs of Kyle of Lochalsh before the introduction of DMU'S I'd love to see them.
Thanks,
Bodie
