Help finding guard/steward/catering roles

    good morning,I am currently working offshore in the catering sector with 15 years experience due to the downturn I am in the middle of a redundancy procedure . I am looking for some help to get into the rail sector steward,guard,or conductor type role many thanks for reading.

    What do you actually want help with? A good start would be to look on the Train Companies websites to find suitable vacancies.

    Thanks for replying,I have looked on a couple of websites just asking to see who was hiring.

    Your best bet then is to go around all the websites and check regularly. On most, you can set up email alerts so that when they post a job, you'll get an email to tell you.

    I know off the top of my head CrossCountry are looking for Retail Service Managers in Bournemouth and Plymouth at the moment.

    Go to a TOC website - fill in a portfolio - add yourself to their mailing list for vacancy alerts - job done.
