Welcome aboard 'new people'. I hope you enjoy the forum and make lots of new friends. Why not come on some meets? It's very cheap. One time we did:

London - Aberdeen - Inverness - Kyle of Lochalsh - Mallaig (via bus and ferry) then onto Fort William then back down to London for under 50 quid!
