It depends - which way around are you going, via Willesden Junction or via Canada Water? Unless there is disruption, the London Overground services (avoiding central London) call at all stations. The calling points would be listed in the timetable or on journey planners like www.fastjp.com.

Thank You.

My friend ,who is nearly 90 ,wishes to travel from Hertford to Honiton - the minimum amount of changes is preferable - so it is probably better if her son actually drives her to Clapham Junction and ensures she catches the correct train.

Waterloo is probably easier to deal with getting the right train as the train is there for longer and it's a concourse at platform level to select platform rather than steps - if the son would be willing to drive to Clapham, they'd be better escorting via train to Waterloo as its easier for both (Basingstoke is probably a shorter drive timewise. Woking certainly is).

Great Northern to Victoria line at H&I and Vic to Bakerloo at Oxford Circus are level 'cross-platform' interchanges, leaving only Waterloo that involves much effort.

To be honest, in that case it is probably advisable to book assistance such as that she is escorted on and off each train. Whilst it doesn't always work perfectly 100% of the time, it is a fairly good system.

I agree with booking assistance for a trip like this.

Thank you.

I used assistance for my mother at Christmas and it didn’t go particularly well. However, I have heard a lot of positive comments from other people - so I think it is worth trying again.Does assistances apply on the underground?

Failing this I think si404’s suggestion of her son travelling to Waterloo with her is an excellent idea rather than driving to Clapham Junction.
